Julian would be too afraid to summon anything. She doesn't feel she would be able to control them. Black magic she has a terrible time controlling in a different way. She brings "bullied nerd has the power and is now abusing it" energy to the table.

my longfic is nearing its end, getting to the climax of the story and im just delighted Ive stuck to this. It's so nice to work on a long project like this and actually reach the end! I feel I can only do that with plush these days.
My prediction is that with the switch users, we will have an influx of lalas and cat girls. Just like when a bunch of au ra men flooded in when XIV was put on Xbox.

Julian was born and raised in Ul'dah. I started in gridania and felt since he was traveling there, he wouldn't be from there. Being dunesfolk, I felt it made sense. He grew up comfortably middle class which is part of his scared normie to reluctant hero narrative.
