I had an extraordinarily chilling vision last night. Once or twice a month when I lay down to sleep I sometimes get vivid images of animals in places they shouldn't be. Ex. A moose in an alley in Hong Kong or a bear in the Aussie Outback. The colours are typically striking and vivid, very intense
My fun group run turned into a horrible nightmare and now my legs don't work.
I do not blame him. I'd resign too if I had to associate with this weird man.
"Conservative Alberta MP Matt Jeneroux announced Thursday he is resigning from the House of Commons, according to statement shared with CBC News, a decision that comes after rumours swirled this week that he was considering crossing the floor to the Liberals."
If a Northern Perspectives mod leaks emails out of context to a journalist making NP seem racist, and then we find out later that mod is also a staffer for Mark Carney, the credibility of that "evidence" would be extraordinarily suspect with ulterior motives. Just thinking out loud. 🤷🤷🤷
🧵3/4The good news is we have the original unedited photo! The forms are still blurry, but you can definitely make out where the name is. And...by a stroke of luck we also held on to the original forms featured in the photo😀 (though we won't be sharing those on a bluesky post)
Names were typed on it because writing it out a trillion times would be annoying. Michael Cooper is a dumb bitch for harassing innocent civilians.
🧵1/4 Did Northern Perspective edit a photo to make it appear blank? (Yes) For 3 months the Youtube channel Northern Perspective has been accusing us of collecting nomination signatures without a candidates name on the form. Their proof... a photo they "zoomed-in and enhanced" ...

New Democrats are deeply concerned after hearing Mark Carney’s pre-budget speech. He’s telling working Canadians to make “sacrifices” while handing out billions to the wealthiest 0.13% and the biggest, most profitable corporations. Read my full statement: www.ndp.ca/news/ndp-sta...

There's never been a longest ballot provincially in AB...So what's going on? Best guess is the ruling party is using long ballots as an excuse to enact politically self-serving election rules that have little to do with us (similar to what's happening at PROC) www.ctvnews.ca/edmonton/art...
Alberta government to introduce bill limiting who can run in provincial elections
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s government is planning to introduce legislation this fall to limit who can run in provincial elections.

The so called Members of Parliament are at it again (TOTALLY CLUELESS, VERY DUMB PEOPLE BELIEVE ME). Only the LONGEST BALLOT COMMITTEE is doing REAL work, fighting for fairness and putting the people first. PROC doesn't get it! Thank you for you attention to this matter!
Mark your calendars! Tuesday, October 7th Tomas will be presenting to MPs who are eager to find out what we're all about😀
I'm getting disturbed that Action 52 might not be a bottom 100 NES game when the science is all said and done @jeffgerstmann.com
Drove from Alberta to Toronto and back to check in on the father in law. The last stretch from Edmonton to home is a BREEEEZE!
“Why can’t a third party that’s independent from the government change election law? The problem is that it’s the winners who dictate election law, the MPs” -candidate Donovan Eckstrom youtu.be/2xL7FlsrViw?...

For all you election nerds out there🤓: The origins of the signature requirement. Attached is a copy of the Dominion Elections Act of 1874, which introduced the first signature requirement (just 25). You'll notice it explicitly approves of the same individuals nominating multiple candidates.
“It’s definitely one of the more interesting protests that has arisen in Canada over the last few years, just because it’s clever, in a way, because they’re following rules, and drawing the ire of mainstream politicians,” Dr. Lewis Krashinsky nowtoronto.com/news/pierre-...
Over 50 candidates are running in the same Alberta by-election as Pierre Poilievre, but political scientists say it likely won’t cost him the race - NOW Toronto
Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre is calling for a limit to how many people can be on a ballot as dozens of candidates are running....

A non LBC indy candidate “stops door-knocking due to death threats” Yes, we can be pretty certain PPs proposed 1000 signature requirement would mean no more elections in safe ridings like BRC. www.ctvnews.ca/edmonton/art...
Candidate in federal Alberta byelection stops door-knocking due to death threats
An Independent candidate running in a rural Alberta byelection says she has stopped door-knocking because of death threats.

The, NDP, Green, Liberal, and PPC candidates so far not on ballot. Likely due problems getting the 100 signatures. PPs idea to require 1000 would absolutely end elections in safe ridings like BRC for good. The incumbent party would just win by acclamation. Only morons would cheer this 🤦♂️
The Longest Ballot is pure democratic organizing and it’s honestly embarrassing how much Poilievre is complaining about them @longestballot.bsky.social
Two interviews with Global and CTV today. Gotta say journalists have been the best after the vitriol I've had thrown my way.
Temporarily away from X, the Everything App formerly known as Twitter, due to the deluge of rage about to slam into me. May God have mercy on us all.
"Libertarian" Facebook friend is mad at the Longest Ballot and wants to put in a $2500 dollar nonrefundable deposit to run. "People who can financially manage their homes" should be the only ones who run! Neat! Folk's reactions to the Longest Ballot really brings out their true colours!
🚨Emergency Press Release from @donovaneckstrom.bsky.social in response to MP Ned Kuruc longdogechallenge.com
"these ballots are sometimes 1, 2, 3 pages long"🙄 -MP Ned Kuruc demonstrating just how little he knows while proving once again why MPs like him should never be in charge of deciding election rules. #citizensassembly #electoralreform #conflictofinterest
This was the first thing I saw yesterday notifying me of this great news.
WE HAVE AN INDEPENDENT GIANT BOMB!
I've noticed a significant decrease in near illiterate DMs about how I deserve to die/be jailed for engaging in democracy.
