Okay, PatternDraw is a massive game changer for every designer ever. It’s exactly the sort of app I’ve needed for seamless pattern design! Imagine all the mushroom merch I can make now!!! (Not sponsored, I just really really like this app!)

A mushroom pattern. The same mushroom pattern but with an alternate colour palette.

I thought I’d try a game called “Drawing myself, but probably how my partner sees me.” Knowing how sappy they are, I can tell they’re already going to say I didn’t make myself beautiful enough!!

A doodle of a brown haired girl in a green jumper sitting at a bar with a pina colada. She is thinking “Wow, I love art!”

I'm not usually one for more 'macabre' imagery, but for some reason I really like the idea of a skull plant and how the stem can be like the spine for the skull. It's just fun to draw~

A drawing of a plant in a flowerpot, but instead of a flower and leaves, the flower is a skull wearing a ribbon and the leaves are little bones sticking out from the plant stem. Little sparkles surround the skull.

It's been a while since I've made a seamless repeating pattern. A simple prompt to draw a notebook turned into an entire pattern dedicated to my love of stationery!!

A repeating pattern featuring different stationery items. These include but aren't entirely limited to a pair of scissors, a notebook, pencils, pens, paper clips, elastic bands and drawing pins.

In the bottom right corner, the artist's signature: @doodlesakimbo is written.

Sometimes it feels awfully confusing to have a phone call to arrange your autism assessments when you have problems with socialising and having conversations on the phone due to said likelihood of autism...

Kimbo looking absolutely bewildered as she holds her phone up to her ear, surrounded by question marks.
