photos and imagery. mostly. They speak quietly, Obscure but not riddles, Sound without voice, In meter without rhyme, ripples of mind
“You do pictures of nature, sometimes.” “Like this.” “It’s a good picture right? … Interesting. I didn’t crop it. The focus is a bit off.” “It’s a good picture.” // #photography
Spent the afternoon at a rich asshole estate with my camera and fancy lenses. this is out the window of the car on the way home. // highway #photography
New (to me) toy! Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 AI-S. So glad I was too cheap to buy a system lens! I played with the Fujifilm 90mm f/2, and it was a good lens, but boring. The 105mm on my Fujifilm is the first digital setup I have had with proper affordances for MF. It feels amazing. // #photography
New toy. New to me, anyway. Oldschool. Micro-Nikkor 105mm 1:2.8. The photo off my camera is a zoom into a test shot of my 220 dpi display. Clear pixels. Wow.
Been watching @effinbirds.com antics for a while now, and while I’m too cheap to spend money apparently my spouse is a fan 😎
A little bit of silliness, and also testing out the 27mm lens a patron sent me.

A grade-and-crop of the image I posted yesterday, because it deserved one and I couldn’t. But after I did it, I realized something: It’s not the same image at all. Showing the shadows changes the vibe. More moment, less performance of one. // #photography
in seattle for a few days, somewhere around capitol hill and for once I am not leading with power! // #photography

A poem for today. I feel like it’s a pile of stereotypes. There is probably some truth to that. But at least they’re used in a less stereotypical way.
