Dot-E🪼🐋@dote26.bsky.social · 11mo agoIm also doing an interior this semester, for my substance designer class I'm re-creating the gamble house living room and creating mats for it (as well as mats for my other environment class) Ik it would have been smart to combine the projects but I wanted to have more diversity in my work this sem
School got hectic fast, but here is the final result! I would love to work on this piece more, I bit off more than I could chew in all of my classes this semester and the quality of my work definitely suffered as a result. #gameart #finals #artstudentcan #substancedesigner #unrealengine
Dot-E🪼🐋@dote26.bsky.social · 11mo agoOK, this has been changed a ton. now drawing most inspiration from the Whitsett Pumping Plant which had the aesthetics I was craving to recreate in the industrial aspects! and now the big pipes turns into little pipes... not the other way around hehe.

I always get scared of writing game documentation especially when projects are just starting because im worried ill do it “wrong” But every time I do it I end up having a lot of fun and learn new things that help me do it better next time. I’ve just gotta jump in and get over my nerves

I modeled a jelly fish girl for fun today! my partner and I were talking about how to humanize a jelly fish without making it uncanny like sharktale and I had the idea of the tentacles shaping the face. I wanted to see how it would look and put this together in like an hour

Because I was overly focusing on the main set-pieces and new content for the finale, much of the criticism I got about the nightly gameplay went unaddressed. Im thinkin about a small update that aims to re-balance gameplay, nothing big
