I don’t want this point to be lost in the discourse. Going digital-only means inequity for people who cannot afford internet or constantly purchasing new games. Libraries provide opportunities for people to experience games they otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford, and that will be lost.

My child loves going to the library and checking out a new video game every week. Going digital only eliminates libraries as a way people can access games.

I’m really worried about the state of physical media, PlayStation have decided to stop producing discs in the future which felt like a long time coming when their collectors editions of games were digital codes for the PS5 generation.

Last night I hardly slept I have been slowly watching the numbers creep up of Labour MPs signing the amendments (rebellion) act for PIP/UC CUT and I think we are at about 119/120 MPs against the cuts which is incredible. Labour seem to be taking this as a vote of no confidence in Kier Starmer 🔥

The government is #takingthepip disabled people are let down time and time again by support systems put in place to help us. Right now the government wants to cut benefits that are supposed to help us.

We should legalise it at this point, tax it and then some of the tax that comes from that will help the NHS, addicts when they’re seeking help are funded. It also then takes away major stigma issues around people who are cancer patients, people with long term health conditions that smoke cannabis.
