I’m in a bookstore now. This shelf holds books from publishers affected by the russian attack on August 1, when eight million books were destroyed. The bookstore is asking people to buy their books. I wanted to remember this shelf.

Around eight million books were destroyed in Kharkiv yesterday. Many Ukrainians are responding by buying books from the affected publishers and from KnyhoLand, the bookstore chain that also used the warehouse. I bought these today.

The warehouse was also used by KnyhoLand, one of our largest bookstore chains. I buy books and then buy more. To save them, support Ukrainian publishers and read, of course.
