After yesterday, I've decided to retire my pirate outfit. It served me well for 6 years, but it is showing its age now. Got something else in mind for the Festival and next season.
Not the way I wanted to close up the cottage for 2026, but that's the way the cookie crumbles I suppose. At least Grey Cup will be stress free for me. Always look on the bright side!

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

Proud to announce that on this day, Day 161 of the #UltimateGCFU, I have surpassed the goal I originally made. 9,849 minutes was the mark, and 9,850 minutes is where I sit now. Where to next? Winnipeg's mark of 10,591 is next up.
Day 158 of the #UltimateGCFU. A day that was infuriating to say the least thanks mostly to stupid people. Got this in though. 177 minutes to go.
