It was my second time ever on a horse the other day. My house kept trying to drink seawater and at the end of the ride he bit another horse’s butt out of nowhere 🤣
I debated even responding to the comment and in the end I did and just said no. In general ao3 etiquette is don’t comment if it’s negative. I don’t mind some constructive criticism, but “constructive” is important. Of course the criticism of not getting it isn’t what irritated me anyway …

I’m grateful to be able to travel and see family but we had such a short period home between trips and I was sick for most of it and … I already miss the kitties. I am the crazy cat lady. I know. 🐈

Occasionally I find odd things in the course of my job. Like documents from a court review of an appeal citing an individual called himself “a living legend in my own time” and sang an Elvis gospel song to the jury. He was representing himself and I gather this was somehow part of his defense.
Since I’m sick I’ve been watching a ton of TV and I’m watching this “should I marry a murderer” series on Netflix and listening to this guy essentially say the star witness didn’t need any mental or emotional support and should have just made different decisions is pretty infuriating

I am having a morning. Cats had a bird this morning - I think it might just have fallen from the nest and couldn’t fly, but either way they were toying with it. While attempting to save the bird it jumped in my pool, and while I was trying to keep it from drowning I dropped my phone and it sank+

Well, thanks to VAR for giving that game to Argentina in regulation. Disallowing a goal for an infraction on the other side of the pitch that the ref saw & did not call is an over-reliance on VAR and takes away from the game. That match should have gone to extra time #WorldCup
All due respect to Argentina, but I was fully on the Cabo Verde train. I am sad to see them lose but man did they play an amazing game. Their second goal was something else. #WorldCup
For someone who has always been a huge Greek mythology fan, and whose introduction to that was having the Odyssey read (and explained) to me in second grade, I have surprisingly little desire to see the movie. The book is always better. 😆 I do want to read Emily Wilson’s translation though
The power co is replacing a transformer on my culdesac which makes it a little hard to get out of my house (they probably would move but with 3 giant vehicles in the small space I don’t want to ask). So I texted my boss and told him I was stuck. His response? “Did you watch the Mexico game?” 😆
