Beautiful skies over Sheffield tonight with a crescent moon sitting right underneath Venus. There's probably a cool astronomy term for it.
Feel like I need to do "St. Pancras Live" because let me tell you, the guy sitting next to me is on a date (I think) and his chat is absolutely insane.
Another episode of All in the Mind done. We talk about why our phones feel like they're vibrating even though they aren't, and why we so often fail to notice what's right in front of us. Listen Tuesday 16th June at 9.30, or Wed 17th at 21.30. Or catch up any time via BBC Sounds.
How are you supposed to even decide what printer to buy?

If you've been watching 'Dear England', you'll have noticed that one of the main characters is Dr Pippa Grange... here she is in conversation with @dr-peter-olusoga.bsky.social back in 2019. www.bps.org.uk/psychologist...

Your principles and your values mean precisely nothing if you're willing to abandon them to avoid upsetting bigots.
Back down in London Land for another episode of All in The Mind. We talk about toxic work behaviours (step away from the 'reply all' function), knowledge theft, and mind blanking. Listen on BBC Radio 4, Tuesday 5th May, 9.30, repeated Wed 6th May 21:30. Or catch up on BBC Sounds.
We can learn a lot about managing burnout from elite sport. There's no pressure quite like it. So how do those at the top manage the stress that leads to burnout? And also Batman. open.substack.com/pub/peteolus...

Very much looking forward to all the "psychological limits" LinkedIn posts tomorrow.
I feel like this should have been seen by a few more people before going to press.

For one glorious week in March of 2026, I knew which bin it was on bin day. That particular magic has deserted me, and fear I will never regain it.
So yeah, how's everyone doing? Because honestly.... Jesus fucking christ.

It's days like these that I really miss Prime 2010s Twitter.
It's weird because someone was asking me just the other day who I would go to for health, fitness, and nutrition advice and without hesitation, I said RFK Jr and Kid Rock.
I watched Predator Badlands. Weyland Yutani is like the embodiment of the Sunk Cost Fallacy. Surely they've realised by now that "capturing advanced hostile alien species to develop bio-weapons" is just not a viable business model.
My absolute favourite thing about continuing to train into my late 40s is when you spend a good amount of time warming up properly and then pull an intercostal on your first working set and can't breathe for like 5 whole minutes. Superfun times 💪🏾
I low-key wanna watch the Turning Point USA Alternative Fascist Superbowl Half-time Show for Fascists. It will be so unfathomably shite that I almost feel like I'd be missing out on something really quite spectacular. Almost, mind you. Almost.
Surprised it's not Meghan Markle's fault, tbh.
But… but is there *ANY* way this could be a woman’s fault…?
What the fuck is the first word here? Fuck's sake?
