I think we can all get behind this one. My power bill here in Washington has doubled since they introduced peak charges to force the rest of us to subsidize AI. Regardless of your view on AI, I definitely don't think we should be footing the bill for any business, much less one so self serving.

People are waking up and momentum is growing against data centres. Data centres are driving up prices for us all, while they only pay half the price for electricity that we do. Housing developments stalled, new electric buses can't be charged, more public transport delayed. #BanDataCentres
