The animation for the Titan's hand wasn't rotoscoped and instead was done by hand by the animation studio Smallbu Animations, who made other things like the Baman Piderman series, the shiftylook animated series, and the game later alligator.

I just want to clarify, because I have been asked quite a bit! The Titan sequence from Deltarune, and anything SmallBu animates, is not rotoscoped! Rotoscoping is cool! We just don't do that unless we're asked to. All of this came out of a brain 🧠🫰
