"I don't restrict myself to one kind of magic, actually. You do?" he asked, taking a sip of his tea, once again.
"I made them all myself, you know. The birds I mean. Because they can't live in the space where I live, but I made it nice. There's trees and sky and they're mostly the proper colours." "So what sort of magic do you do? Is it magic, or tricks, or do you just shift things around you?"
"Oh, I love birds. They're beautiful creatures, all of them" he took the scone and took a bite, tasting slowly. "Oh, it's really good"
"Please have a scone ." She said, standing up and placing a scone on his plate, followed by a dollop of jam, and one of cream. "I really did make them myself, I remember it. In a kitchen, in an apron, with sultanas and currants. And I gave the scraps to the birds." "I like the birds."
"Now, that must be quite interesting" of course he wasn't surprised or shocked by that information, but curious. Now he wanted to know more, how her brain worked.
“Oh yes. I’m told that my brain works differently, that’s why I can see many things.” “I remember when it was dark and warm and the sound of my mother’s heart beating. And I remember when I started to understand that I existed. And I remember the squeezing and being pushed. And how it pressed me.”-
"And do you have the slightest recollection of the event?" he took a sip from his cup of tea, all while looking at Wytch.
“You weren’t at your own birth?” “How strange. I was at mine.” Crunching on a cucumber sandwich. But her mind was now on dragons. She was sure she could summon another one.
"I do not know, I wasn't there" he shrugged it off, as if it didn't even matter. "Sorry I can't give you an answer"
“Your father was a dragon? That must have been very uncomfortable for your mother!” For a moment she looked shocked, picturing it. “Did you come from an egg, or a belly?” Important questions.
"Well, now, that is a great point" he then chuckled, while starting to clean up, all with his magic of course, not even getting up from his seat.
"C'mon wizard! It's not fun if you don't get to undress me!" his voice was now more distant, as he went upstairs.
—Desde luego pareces una persona razonable, eso sin duda.
Eso es tontería, a menos que sea para hacer que bajes la guardia y hacerte algo malo. Que por cierto no lo haría
"Water dragons also exist" he was quick to add, before answering the question. "I've never fought a dragon, but I've worked with some. My father was one, also"
"I made them all fresh... at some point. Or I will. Or I am." It was all the same thing. "Did you ever fight a dragon? This one time I summoned a beast from a forgotten, drowned land and it looked like a dragon. But I think I undrowned it because it belonged to the sea and not to the air."
"Must you?" with a big smirk he let him go get dressed, even if his words suggested he didn't wish for the tiefling to do so. Meanwhile he finished breakfast.
Sigh. The tiefling rose from his seat, palms up at his sides. "Right. Take a gander! Enjoy the view before I cover this more than decent body with clothes and leather armour." He said as he sauntered his way out of the room.
He sat down, while looking at her. He soon nodded. "I am, yes, in the flesh" he smiled. Watching her waving towards the sweets, the sorcerer simply waved his own hand and now the cakes, sandwiches and scones were on the table. "Thank you, dear"
Then she won't have to explain, or try to hold herself back from what comes naturally to her. That always gives her a headache. "Please sit down. Are you really Merlin? Like, thee Merlin?" Pouring tea from a teapot decorated with flowers and a sleeping dormouse into a cup with a chip. -
"I know" he winked at him, finally. He was about to complaint about treasures and dragons, but he let it slide. "Well, whenever you're ready to leave"
"Charming" His tail moved back and forth, ever so calmly. "Big lizard usually means big treasure, let a man have hopes, damn it." He wasn't even that interested in finding treasures, but it was easier to focus on that. "So, when are we leaving?"
"They are great, yes" he agreed, while nodding with his head. He knew the table hadn't been there before, yet he also didn't react. He was way too used to those tricks.
She’s not exactly a girl. Even if she looks like one. An innocent one. “Wonderful!” A happy one, now. Grinning wide and clapping her hands together. “I do love tea parties, don’t you?” There’s a table there now. It wasn’t before. Or maybe it was. It doesn’t matter.
