Got these watercolor sticks and they are so cool to use. Great way to just build up a strong amount of paint to use. It’s like an oil pastel but it’s all watercolor and can use water and a brush with it. Plan to get a few more to imitate my dynamic cool palette I made recently.
Why don’t you come on over here and help rub this belly? Maybe bring me some snacks while you’re at it.

Built out 2 new small travel pallets. On the right is a general split primary with some extras and the left is more for dynamic colors and mixes, darks and cools focused. Then a page of all the watercolors I own in my pallets. Feel free to ask about any of these, I love talking about watercolor.

Art supply haul today. Some watercolors, watercolor stick(think a water soluble pastel), a pencil thing with leads and some more half pans for my paints.
Time for a lil late morning outing to blick art supply and Hmart. Partly cause my dad wants me to get some good kimchis for him to try so im all for this!

In Arizona for a week. Me and my sibling all got together for a surprise visit for my mom. I hate how constantly hot it is here. Like all yesterday it felt like having a slight film of sweat all over my body the whole time.
I’m had a dream right as I was waking up that me and @theome.bsky.social were bragging that “we are like Costco hotdogs, so you know we’re a pretty big deal”. Dreams are strange but that analogy kinda makes sense though…

I love the amount of really cool watercolor stuff I’ve been finding over the last few months now. These things would have been so awesome to have had when I was in college. So many unique palettes and paints to be had. Love it.
Currently drawing a very large well known rat and all that’s going through my head is “okay but I think I can still make them bigger…”
Coming up with different limited pallet ideas for watercolors brings a certain level of joy to me.
