The director LOVES a grey haired wig, (see Song Mo in the opening ep of Blossom 😍). When he moved from webdramas to prime time interviewers asked him was he excited to have big budgets for fight scenes etc.? He was like: ‘Fight scenes? Yh sure I guess, but I spend it all on wigs and costumes’ 😭

With each author getting $3000 all this does is teach A.I. companies it’s far cheaper to steal and settle than to individually license these works bc no way is an author’s life works worth $3k. THIS is what JK Rowling should be focusing on as the world’s richest author 😮💨

I did not enjoy this week’s eps of #HeadOverHeels I’m so sick of Bong-su and he needed to get gone last week. I cannot believe the writer has sidelined the ML for so long. Everyone coddling Bong-su when they should be performing an exorcism!

Actually let me just pin this here bc the drama is advertised as a tragedy so I won’t blame the writer (whose work I don’t care for) if she goes w/ a sad ending bc it’s hardly a surprise.

Demon Hunter’s Romance. Don’t get me started on the producer (only ever had 1 HE that cnetz demanded)
Absolutely adored #LegendofZangHai and am glad it stayed great all the way to the end. It did NOT pull its punches, with standout performances from Xiao Zhan, Zhang Jingyi and a solid supporting cast. Definitely one of my top cdramas of the year!
Nothing is appealing to me while I wait for my ongoings so am rewatching a classic: Lost Love in Times. Liu Shi Shi and William Chan did their big one with this drama 🥹

Been passing time during this drama drought by watching dramas I missed when airing bc I (correctly) judged I wouldn’t much like them. Currently it’s Twinkling Watermelon. Am 13/16 eps in & the pacing is deeply flawed 😮💨
Cdrama land so dry am trying to pick up Love Like the Galaxy again after dropping it the first time round and now I’m suffering even more this time around 😮💨
Am mainly in a drought while I await my anticipated cdramas so am finally getting around to watching Family By Choice. I know a lot of Go Ahead purists were split on this but honestly I think a 16 ep drama will clean up some of the flaws of Go Ahead, which I dropped at like ep 30
Am not watching this drama but I’ve seen this sentiment a lot from ppl who are and I honestly have no idea what the drama is doing. The ML/the actor playing him is not a hit with netizens at allll 😭

Have seen a few opinions viewing #PumpUpTheHealthyLove on a surface level. This is an absurdist comedy, absurdism takes a heightened approach to point out the fallacy of things society is often obsessed with. Step further than satire which is theme-focused, it questions our very reality
I am 2 minutes into #PumpUpTheHealthyLove and I cannot stop laughing. It starts off by (correctly) comparing ML Lee Jun Young to Michelangelo’s David and is an absurdist comedy (hiding real points about gym bros)! Haven’t laughed like this since Gaus Electronics

Happiness is an EXCELLENT thriller and romance and is exemplary of what the heart of the horror genre can achieve (thrillers are a sub-genre of horror) I would teach it in screenwriting classes if I could

Started watching the cdrama Wanna Be, with zero hopes and am pleasantly surprised to say it’s interesting! Too early to say if it’s good or not but the FL is complex and they haven’t tried to make her likeable, the world is interesting and the plot is somewhat intriguing
Glad Lovely Runner got nominations, romances are extraordinarily difficult to do well, including technically! Yet they’re oft-dismissed especially if they’re not historical. Multiple timelines, several versions of the leads & pitch perfect performances to sell the suspension of disbelief. AWARDS!!
