In 3 days in Aus, 2 women and 2 girls have been lost to femicide. A man is charged with killing Jana Armstrong, whose baby is 4 mths. A 16yo boy is charged with killing 13yo Layla Jeffery, a 17yo unnamed girl was killed July 6, 39yo mum Lavanya Chappa July 7. Accused killers all known to victims.
