A juicy, picaresque, low-fantasy, party-based adventure full of life, death, lovable, roguish characters, strange magic, Death-worshipping paladins, murder birds, nasty goblinses, spell-tattooed assassins, scary giants, and a fuckton of pure enjoyment in language(s). Great! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #booksky #fantasy

"In a dying port town, Sir Konrad Vonvalt finds a fellow Justice imprisoned for the murder of a young boy. The town's haunted lighthouse holds the key to the mystery." The Adventures of Young(er) Vonvalt, vol. 1: Bressinger's Urethra & Just Justice for an Unjust Justice #booksky #fantasy #grimdark

Vol. 3: Gather Your Armies Before Venturing Forth; Desperate Measures; Inevitable Betrayals; Attempted Soul Rape & Other Excruciations; Last Stand; Hell on Earth, Figuratively; Knee-Deep in Blood; Hell on Earth, Literally; The Rule of Law; Victory Lap; Return to Shire #booksky #fantasy #grimdark

aka 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗬 (2024) "In a medieval Dutch village, a young woman is caught between her faith, fanatic townsfolk and the dark forces lurking in the woods." You know 'The VVitch?' This is more like VVVVitch. Short, mesmerising, horrifying & satisfying. #filmsky #horror #folk #witches #wittewieven

Do Perfume Adverts Dream of Being David Lynch? It is a tale told by NWR, empty of sense and emotion, signifying nothing, also being my own private hell. If you think 'The Neon Demon' had too much grounded realism and 3D characters, this might be for you. #filmsky #sci-fi #fantasy #horror

Dr. Slasherlove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Start Orgasming A truly magical experience, especially for slasher fans ⭐⭐⭐⭐ #filmsky #horror #queer

A nerfed WH40k Inquisitor/Judge Dredd in a European fantasy WH1.5k world turns to the dark(er) side when confronted with the grim darkness of the past, where there's only war, rain, shit, Templars, scheming, and some vaguely Slavic names for added grimness. #booksky #fantasy #grimdark

"Amziah King, beekeeper, musician, and anchor of his community, reunites with former foster daughter Kateri after many years apart and fends off threats to his honey business." Long, slow & mesmerising, confidently straddling five different genres, bee-licious even when it doesn't work. #filmsky

I loved 'If Follows.' This one was more 'Shit Follows.' #filmsky #scifi

"When the alien Mimics invade, Keiji Kiriya is one of many recruits shoved into battle armor and sent out to kill. Keiji dies on the battlefield, only to be reborn each morning to fight and die again." Time-looping that sweet progression to kick all the alien ass with elite skillz. #booksky #scifi

Tenacity & Heart vs Corporate Malfeasance, my favorite courtroom comedy in decades. #filmsky #coyotevsacme #looneytunes

What is the top Canadian excuse for not engaging in oral sex and trading insults?

I hoped it would get me in the mood for #Witcher 3 Remastered, but this was just a jumble of tutorial quests in the prequel DLC nobody asked for, interspersed with old-timey correspondence instead of structure. Easily the worst entry in the series. Not even for completionists. ⭐ #booksky #fantasy

Same here, M'Benga. #tv #startrek #strangenewworlds

"There are just 77 days to go before a deadly asteroid collides with Earth, and Detective Palace is out of a job." The last pretenses of civilization are stripped away in this one, rudely and fast, but Hank still clings to his ideals and tries to do good when there's no hope #booksky #crime #scifi

Let's give this DC cinematic universe a try #filmsky

"When the family learns that an old fakir has enchanted the mummified paw that grants three wishes, they still treat it lightly. But the workings of the paw, once set in motion, cannot be undone, no matter what they try." Freaky Nikki's origin story #booksky #classic #horror #shortstory

"Armies have risen, the machines of war are prepared, but no battle plan survives first contact with witches." Vol. 5: HurryUpAndWaitbound A tale of two parts: the very uninteresting one and the megabattle with schemes within schemes, some closures, and some table-setting #booksky #litrpg #isekai
