v1.6.2 of my openMenu/Card Manager bundle is here with some cool new features and numerous fixes 😎 Windows/Linux users, just open Card Manager to auto-update, then click "Save Changes" with your SD card inserted. macOS users update manually. github.com/DerekPascare...

(1/2) xStation has a quirk: a game's display label comes from the name of first data track (e.g., "Game Name (Track 01).bin"), minus track number. To customize a label, editing its parent folder name isn't enough. Any interest in a tool to customize xStation game display names?

(1/3) Users of my openMenu/Card Manager fork, do you have any interest in a Recently Played function? This is one I've had requests for numerous times since initial release. While not something I'd use myself, my idea was to have an setting to access last 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50.

Hate to do it, but I had to release a small v1.6.1 update to openMenu Virtual Folder Bundle this evening fixing two important bugs! As always, Windows/Linux users must only open Card Manager and let the auto-updater do its magic, while macOS users must manually upgrade. github.com/DerekPascare...

Version 1.6.0-ateam of openMenu/Card Manager is here, packing a slew of new features and enhancements! Windows/Linux users can auto-update by simply launching Card Manager and letting it do the rest. For now, macOS users must still update manually. github.com/DerekPascare...

Getting the original CD-ROM drive out of my FM Towns II Fresh E took some work, but I've successfully installed mcDomDomBurger's ODE and updated it to latest firmware 🙂 I haven't connected a speaker yet to test CDDA, but I'm sure it works just fine.

(1/2) I've wanted to add drag-and-drop support to the Linux version of my GD MENU Card Manager fork for a while now (the card manager used in my version of openMenu). Upgrading the Avalonia UI framework used by macOS/Linux is showing signs of promise.

Two other commonly requested features are coming to openMenu/Card Manager... • Set a default openMenu view style and theme • Play optional background music in openMenu

In openMenu Virtual Folder Bundle v1.5.6, I'm hoping to include the previously exclusive to Windows "Batch Folder Move/Rename" feature in the Linux and macOS builds. Linux is confirmed, just waiting on macOS testers.

Strangely, the online Dreamcast indie game "Driving Strikers" misreads my console's flashrom. Instead of dialing 1111111 via DreamPi, it tried 11. I wrote a patch to force dial 1111111 and now it connects without issue. If anyone else has this problem, I will release patch.

Loopy fans, take notice! There's a new English translation patch in the works, and from what I can see, it looks awesome 😎

"I Want a Room in Loopy Town!" English version—playtesters wanted. Calling all #CasioLoopy heads! Do you love the Loopy? Do you want a room in Loopy Town? I have been working on an English translation of this early cozy life sim & would love for YOU to test it before release! Please DM for details.

Our English translation patch of "Love Hina: Surprise Engagement" on the SEGA Dreamcast hit an important milestone recently: initial translation is 100% complete! We're continuing to edit all 11,251 instances of dialogue text, after which playtesting commences. We'll get there!

The ports to Dreamcast just don't stop! It was almost criminal we never got Monkeyball on our beloved Dreamcast. Another historical wrong being righted 😉

Hello 😊👋 I am porting Monkey Ball to the #Dreamcast bringing AiAi home where he belongs! 🐵🍌 I am using the GameCube assets from Super Monkey Ball for this. There is a prototype demo featuring the beginner courses + extra floors. Here is a playthrough: www.youtube.com/watch?v=277A...

Happy 4th of July to all my fellow Americans! I'm so grateful for all this country has given me and my family, and I'm so thankful that a couple generations ago, the Pascarellas left everything behind to call this land "home." May we always move towards a better tomorrow, together 🇺🇸

Coming soon, a cross-platform GUI rewrite of my SD card manager for the Wizard and DocBrown ODEs (FM Towns/FM Towns Marty). Named FM^2 (FM Squared, the Fujitsu Micro File Manager), it runs natively on Windows, Linux, and macOS (Intel & ARM) with no third-party external helper utilities whatsoever.
