"I mean I've learned a little bit of how to be a chef from one of the individuals I live with. Though, some magic is involved. I come from a land that... has quite a bit of it."

❝ Wow! It looks to be enough for lots of people. So are you some kind of baker? That's amazing if you are. I only met a few here and there. ❞

After heading through the portal, they arrive at the Plaza. "This you could say is the busiest area of the valley. If only because the Dream Castle is here along with... well, the main restaurant and our main store. Plus, it's where I and a few other villagers live."

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · 7d ago

iroh follows right behind the other. “ we can take the portals there. lead the way, my friend. ” he smiled back at him.

"I do. Though, I prefer to walk through it than portal around for every little thing. Unless it's a long distance of course." He's giving a nod. "There's a few areas connected to the valley through the castle but I just portal there instead of taking the traditional route." Tom enters the portal.

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · 7d ago

“ ah, you have portals to navigate your world as well.. we have spirit portals. such unique abilities different universes have. ”

"Of course. I admit, I might have made too much but that's just part of the recipe. I got it from someone else."

❝ Ooh!! That sounds great and very tasty! Can I get a slice? If it's not too much to ask. ❞

The human seems to focus a moment, using Dreamlight Magic to open a portal back to the Valley, specifically the Plaza area. It is easier to connect to that area of the valley after all, his eyes open as he looks through the purplish portal, showing the plaza on the other side. "Here we go."

“ Oh my, i'd love to have an adventure! I'm down. ” “ Indeed, the four elements have its own special ability & own nation, known as bending. I'm a former prince of the Fire Nation & a firebender. ”

"What are you even doing, Oogie Boogie?"

He thinks for the moment. "Well, if you don't mind a little bit of a jump, I can find a way to get us there. It is a unique aspect of travel, for sure." He finishes his tea and stands up. "Fire, Air, Water, Earth, hmm? Makes sense. I know a villager who is a natural on the seas."

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · last wk.

“ Haha, the world I'm native of during my time sounds identical to yours now I reside in its spirit world. Chaotic time periods happens throughout the history but the world of the four elements of nature Is truly something beautiful to cherish. Fire, Air, Water, & Earth. ” “ Oh! I'd love to —>

He gives a nod and takes another long sip of tea, giving a sigh. "I would show you the place sometime. Admittedly, it's got a lo of beauty. Each section of the valley has it's own flair. From Savannahs to Plains to Tundras to everywhere in between." He gives a smile as he looks at Iroh. "It-

<— & not have all of the answers to everything, my friend. All we can do is do our best in the present. I'm sure you make a fine leader. ” The firebender smiled at the other & gently placed a hand on his shoulder. “ We all have our days where we feel lost & confused, but don't get discouraged. ”

"Vanilla and Lemon Sponge Cake. And.. yeah, it's definitely enough, but I know some that would definitely take a slice of it."

❝ Interesting. So what kind of cake is it really? It seems like enough for everyone to eat. ❞

"It is very good. But it does take a while to make and bake. I guess it does look that way though, with how tall it is."

🌀𝐀𝐀𝐍𝐆 🌀 ༄『𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑』༄@airbenderavatar.bsky.social · last wk.

❝ Wow! I never knew, there were cakes like this. It looks good. ❞

"Before you ask, no I have no idea how it defies gravity, it just does."

"... Made Cake."

"... Made Cake."

"A position of power can change someone. Sometimes not for the better. Though, I do my best with the place. Admittedly, some days are more difficult than others. All kinds tend to live in the valley. Some of them naturally... chaotic in nature."

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · last wk.

“ Ah, I see. I was once a prince who was heir to the throne myself. I'm glad it didn't work out & the title was handed to my lovely nephew, for many reasons. Life can be truly bittersweet. ”

"Anyone seen Mushu?"

"I mean, I'm not a big deal, but I'm kind of... In charge of a location called Dreamlight Valley. Though that's less like being a traditional king and more like being a caretaker."

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · last wk.

“ True that. I love meeting new people & becoming friends with them. It's truly a blessing connecting with others within the state of peace. ” “ So Tom, would you like to tell me about yourself? ”

"There's a lot more I want to do with the valley, of course."

"Pleasure is all mine. And... hmm. Hot tea is best, if I'm going to take a cold drink, well, I think I would perhaps have a few choices above cold tea certainly." He takes a look at the liquid for a moment. "Meeting someone new is always interesting, for sure. It takes all kinds."

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · last wk.

He chuckled softly before taking a sip of his own tea cup. “ Haha, I love my tea brewing hot! It's the cold tea that I'm not so found of—it's always a pleasure meeting someone new. Nice to meet you, Tom. I'm Iroh. ”

"Oh, it's fine. I've had a few hot things, but... I guess those were more spicy." He gives a light bow for the tea and takes a sip of it. "... I do not believe I've seen you before, but it would be rude to not introduce myself. I'm Tom."

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · last wk.

The old man pours some warm jasmine tea into a small tea cup & handed the cup to the other. He smiled gently. “ Here you go, my friend. Hopefully it isn't to hot for you. ”

"I'm having a good day, working on things."

"Some tea would be nice." He's never met this individual, but admittedly, it would not be the first time someone new showed up.

iroh .@thefiresplacidity.bsky.social · 2w ago

“ Good morning, my friend. Would you like some tea? ”

"Good Morning all."

"... Many of the Dream Castle doors tend to go to other realms. From islands to mythical Grecian lands to savannahs and everywhere in between." He thinks for a moment. "But only those who have Dreamlight magic can seem to freely traverse those realms but I haven't thought too deeply on it.-

"... I mean mysterious doors are kind of... this place's thing. And my thing by proxy. Though, truthfully, most of those doors end up heading to new realms. Like the other doors of the dream castle." He just stares at the door. "... I've dealt with my fair share of danger."

((Speaking of which, I think I'm just going to right Tom's Dreamlight Magic working outside of the Valley for funsies.))

"Good morning everyone. We may or may not have new residents traveling to the valley. I'm going to explore using the mysterious door in the Dream Castle."

"... What, were you planning on keeping the him like that forever?"
