I've spoken before about how advertiser interests color our perceptions of what is acceptable in online content spaces. On most sites, TOS guidelines are written with advertisers in mind. I refuse to make myself less queer or halt my activism for the sake of making myself marketable. But I'm tired.
"Sorry, you said the words 'transgender' and 'human rights' too many times, we've determined your content is not in line with advertiser values!" Ads are an extremely small portion of my revenue, and I'd avoid running them entirely if I could. But this is endlessly frustrating as a creator.

Every time my chatters tell me what ad they got, I'm gonna go on a 15 minute unbroken rant about how much I hate that advertiser and buddy I got equal opportunity hating for EVERYONE. Twitch will not know peace.
