The winner of "Game of the Year" should not be allowed to win "Best Independent Game." Whatever got second place in Best Indie should be pushed up to win it. The ability for one game to win both makes the latter irrelevant.

I can't stand video essays or "retrospectives" that just explain the plot and scenes of a game verbatim... And yet so many have millions of views. I don't get it.

The amount of successful YouTubers who focus on how to "make it" on YouTube is a sign of overwhelming misguidance with the creation of art and the negligence of YouTube toward small channels making it. Make good art, people will watch. Just takes time to learn.

Every person saying "The Steam Machine is changing the industry!" "Steam is showing Microsoft what for!!!" Etc. is full of shit. Until we know the price, which is going to be high or they would've said it outright, that might as well be a cardboard box filled with snake oil. Be real folks.
