I like the term "failure friends". We have peer support, but this feels wider and for more than just work failures.

Some days we take home more residuals than normal. So glad to have a supportive group of friends, family and "failure friends" to unload and unpack the events of the day. Always ready to return refreshed and rearmed to take what comes next. Never hesitate to reach out when the days are tough.

Historically in my region, a suspected testicular torsion takes precedence over almost every other case in emergency theatres. A suspected ovarian torsion doesn't. Good, there needs to be an independent review of this charity. The people of Stoke on Trent are well served by MAAC and North Staffs BASICS. WMAS provide excellent care, and the hospital is but a few minutes away.

I used to be a TweetDeck user on Twitter (can I use that word here?!) I've found deck.blue which is exactly the same for Bluesky! Excellent.

Looks like #Hemsky has been appropriated by the Haematologists (even though they clearly missed the A out ;-)) I guess us ambulance chasers will have to use #PHEMSky!

I've switched to SupraInguinal Fascia Iliaca blocks for #NOF and hip surgery, it's much more efficacious than Infra. I've also adopted SIFI block catheters for Fem-Pop bypass with excellent results. Anyone else doing this? #RASky #ANSky
