A trait I see in people who reach the top .01%? Audacity. As it turns out, the world responds when you put yourself out there. When you give it a real shot for the thing you want—not only in small steps—but in big, bold, smart moves that take a bit of chutzpah.

A universal truth in business & life: "You can't want it more than they do." - You can't want the coworker to dig into the opportunity more than they do. - You can't want your partner to care for you more than they do. See people for who they are & your decisions will shift.

If you're someone out there having a hard time in the New Year...some untraditional advice: Stop by an animal shelter & see if you connect with a dog or cat who needs a home. You'll get companionship, genuine love, routine, and some sense of purpose.

People are more resilient than you think... If you need to make hard calls for your business, work or life - make them. Every day you delay a necessary change is a day stolen - Hard decisions don't get easier with time. They get harder & cost more. Do it now.

Great outcomes often require you to be "different." - You choose to exercise? 72% of Americans don't - Want to make $500k/year? 98% of People won't - Make it to your 20th anniversary? 50% won't Decide how you'll be exceptional, and work for it. Be Different.

For high achievers, the most sophisticated form of self-sabotage isn't failure avoidance – it's identity protection. Competent people resist growth not because they fear change, but because they've mastered being exactly who they are.

My spouse and I have "laddered up" our whole careers. One in building mode, the other in earning mode. Then it flips... Another in building mode, the other in earning mode. Fastest way to accelerate as a couple.

I don't know about you all, but the one thing I am *really* excited about from the future of AI, is inter-species communication. Like knowing what a bird or your cat is saying, and being able to have a translator to say something back. Walking in the woods would be so cool.

Low expectations aren't a shield against disappointment – they're the architect of regret. Having a low bar isn't "humble," it will crush your spirit. Kick that bar up, be willing to work for it, and go for what you want. Get up in the morning excited again.

It's never impossible to pull a win for yourself. I've seen people: - Start late - Start over - Go bankrupt - Face major setbacks & challenges ...and *still* get to where they wanted to go. You just have to be bigger than anything that could stop you.

2025 is coming. Everyone will focus on habits, and that's the wrong focus...those new habits will drop quickly. Don't change what you do - Change who you are. If you do that, new actions will follow & stick. Work tirelessly for internal change & external change flows.

People overestimate how hard change is, because they listen to people who don't have agency in their own life. They underestimate what is possible, because they are listening to inaccurate reporters.

Betting on yourself and seeing yourself win, is the most addictive feeling in the world. Train for the race, take the risk in your work, give a shot to asking out the person you want. Take the leap & Try... The payoff is far more than dollars.
