I arrived in Ireland only a month ago—well after the deadline to enroll at university had passed. I could have taken courses as an unenrolled student, but I really didn't want to wait another full year to begin the Bachelor of Nursing Science in Mental Health program I'd set my heart on. (1/13)

Date night with my partner tonight: watching the Red Sox at Buffalo Wild Wings. There is probably no scenario where I am more "unladylike" then when I am plowing down a big pile of chicken wings and chasing them with tall Sam Adams drafts

I would stay the course with Bluesky. I understand why media would want their talent on Twitter. Bigger audience = easier to build engagement. But 2 thoughts: 1. A lot of your followers on Twitter are bots 2. Smaller but more authentic engagement is better than lagrer, toxic engagement

My editor asked me why I am on Bluesky, and suggested I should be on X. Whhhyyy?!? Ok, i’ve never actually been on X. But I know who owns it and runs it. The same dirtbag who DOGE‘D my dad from the United States Department of Transportation for being an openly transgender woman. No, thanks. 

I love that they are placed into clinical right away. Initiation by fire. Medical and mental health practice can by brutal, and this is a good way for students to find out if they are cut for it. Medical and mental health students are tougher than the rest! Love my niece and so proud of her!
