As my 40th birthday approaches, I have bought a dress with squids and sea critters on it and booked a tattoo. What tat design, you ask? Well, it's Halley's comet as it is interpreted on the Bayeux Tapestry 😂☄️ my only plan as I enter my 4th decade is to keep being this cool 😎

Some recent knitting-related activities. Two swatches (griffin from the Antique Pattern Library, and goat from unknown on Pinterest); the curio collar (pattern designed by Lydia Morrow); and finally a frame for my Black Philip piece (pattern designed by The Witchy Stitcher).

Knitting with real wool is very nice. My current WIPs: The yellow and green vest is a riff on the olive vest by meganfaithmakes, and the grey and cream jumper is the Olga sweater by petiteknits 🧶🐑

Feeling a bit smug about all this aran weight (real!) wool that I picked up at Wonderwool Wales for £20 yesterday 🧶 (the bright yellow wool in last pic is sock yarn so not part of the aran haul) 🧶
