One last spot I wanted to see again before I pack up and head north on Friday - Seven Mile Beach looking all the way down to Shoalhaven Heads. When you grow up on the Pacific Coast you are constantly reminded how in the grand scheme of things human beings are pointless. #dharawalcountry

You know the best thing about returning to Australia? Being part of South East Asia again. I fucking love it.

It is very interesting to be among Australians talking about US politics from a certain disconnected and intellectual angle. It makes me realise how deeply traumatising it was to be there and how comfortable Australia as a country really is (not complaining just observing)

Today was a very hard day - big fight with my sister, missing my dog, my own place, my job, everything I left behind in the US, wondering if I’ve made a massive mistake. I know it will pass but today it’s really hard.

I wrote 1200 words today for a truth telling report about the impact of doomed race theory and British colonial hubris (yeah I’m glad they lost the football), now decompressing with Middlemarch and Maxx and waiting for the rain

I went back to therapy yesterday, first time with a new therapist in Australia. It seems like all my "problems" are because I was and still am the older sister. Thanks, I hate it.

I don’t understand why anyone from what was once a colony would be cheering for England but ok whatever. I’ve had my money on Argentina from the get go.
