On the one hand I agree that Werner Herzog is fun and quirky and plays cool parts, but on the other hand didn’t he direct a movie in which multiple indigenous people were killed trying to carry a steam boat over a mountain or something? I feel like that should be Kind Of A Big Deal

Lore drop: in Grade School my Gifted Kid class went to see La Boheme. I was SO excited as I’d seen several operas and kept telling other kids they were Fun, Actually. Turns out we were going to a rehearsal for a college theater who did acts out of order: 3,1,4,2 & didn’t turn on the surtitles.
