Mario in all three Dic cartoons is ostensibly the same character, but I do feel like he was written very differently when Walker Boone replaced Captain Lou. Not a bad thing; I enjoy both takes on his character, but in AoSMB3 and SMW he's definitely more of a snarky wiseguy compared to SMBSS.

Videogame piracy is not an immoral thing, especially for the older games. None of these companies are getting any poorer from you playing games made for ps2 or game boy but emulated, since they stopped producing means of playing through them for the most part. If you want to play a game, just do it

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga contains a "Spanish Peach Protection" exploit. Normally, Peach gets kidnapped in a cutscene when Mario is distracted by Toadsworth. Setting the language to Spanish helps mash through Toadsworth's text so fast that Peach never actually gets kidnapped.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, each Shine Sprite can be collected twice because the icon of it appearing is not merely visual, but literally another Shine Sprite. This provides a cautionary tale to developers about never implementing a visual effect as a copy of the object itself.

Asterisk-censoring words is dumb. People who have those words muted now have to look at your posts talking about the topic they didn't want to see. Has anyone in history ever thought "Whew, good thing they didn't spell that entire word (which I can still tell what it is) or I'd be real distressed."
