I’m really happy with the dinner I made tonight, inspired by my son’s favorite dish at our local barbecue restaurant- Stacked Mac and cheese with seasoned baked chicken and roasted asparagus.
Mastodon is one of my all time favorite metal bands (I’d put them at #4) and this was just heartbreaking. I saw a lot of parallels here with a friendship of mine, but at least in the case of my friend, he did get help and came out of it. Well worth a watch. youtu.be/Ba4fW0mXh_w?...

So my current (tabletop) gaming obsessions are the Gundam TCG and the miniatures skirmish game Eldfall Chronicles. Anyone else into either of these?
When I see someone bagging on the new Ghost in the Shell series all it tells me is that they haven’t read the manga and have zero understanding of Masamune Shirow’s work.
Also, I love Bjork’s solo work, but I prefer her stuff with The Sugarcubes. 🤷🏻♂️

Disappointed the Dragon Quest XII is delayed, but I’m glad they’re going back to something more traditional. The last thing I want is dark and gritty edgelord Dragon Quest. I’m just mad there’s no alliteration in the subtitle now.
OOOOF. So glad I let @jessfoxbooks.com talk me into taking the plunge on a Steam Deck when it could be had at a reasonable price. The crazy thing is that it’s still one of the most inexpensive handheld PC options. Fuck AI, fuck AI bros and fuck Trump.

Playing a solo game of Fortune and Glory tonight. I love Flying Frog games because they feel like Games Workshop games of the late 80’s and early 90’s.
Latest build. It was only my second Moderoid kit (my first being their Reideen kit) and I really enjoyed it. I’m not quite done, I still plan on applying the waterslides and giving it a matte coat, but I’m going to wait for the weather to clear up a bit, as I’ll need to do the topcoat outside.
