Yes, I'm still here. My wife died a month ago and it has got only a little bit easier. Her funeral is in 6 days time. I hit rock bottom a fortnight ago. The wonderful staff at the nearby charity shop have given me a few weeks worth of food. Sadly I've learned who my real friends are.

I saw Carly's body at the funeral home yesterday. They had done a good job. And I think I managed to offend three or four people yesterday including some in laws and my best friend.

I got back home a few hours ago. The doctors think my chest pains were due to (understandable) anxiety rather than a heart attack. We had a long chat and they recommended contacting mental health services. I'm reluctant. I've tried them before and they weren't of much use tbh.
I won't be posting for the rest of the day, sorry. I have some friends over to tidy the house after my wife's death and they are so concerned about my health that they are taking me to hospital.

There's been a massive setback in my wife's cancer treatment.
I haven't spoken to my dad in eight years. I sent him a 90th birthday card (his bday is the 14th July) to break the ice and so far haven't heard a thing back.
