Went and saw the Hadestown proshot today in theaters 10/10. I already adored Hadestown but getting to see it like that was amazing. I pray for more and more musical proshots. I've seen Hadestown twice before thanks to the tour but im always in the nosebleeds so seeing their expressions was lovely

Hey y'all, time for another year of #artfight! For the first time, I'm finally doing one of these cards lol. I'm finally adding a couple more of my OCs this year so I'm featuring 2 of them in the card. I want to try and do things a little differently this year but we'll see what I can accomplish.

A team mystery artfight profile card for drpceeates. "I attack mostly humanoid characters, but honestly I use artfight to try new things so I'm open to almost anything." Does Revenge and a little friendly fire. Characters I Have: human, anthro, vampire, demons, satyr, fairies, siren, werewolf, + general magic users"

I forgot to post this here last week, whoops. Last #mermay post for this year focuses on Saira. I went the aquarium this past weekend and got inspired for her tail shape while there. Its honestly surprising that I hadn’t already done Saira as she is lowkey one of my favorite OCs. #ocart

It took like 10 times before the wheel chose someone I hadn't already drawn for mermay before. It was delightful when it finally chose Ember, my fire imp OC. Thought it would be fun to draw a fire based mermaid instead of having her underwater. I'd like to think she's swimming through lava. #mermay

I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to finish this week's drawing in time because I've been busy but I got it done. Thankfully, Leith ended up being an easy model that I could draw quickly. Ngl I love the excuse of drawing flowy lines in these mermaid drawings. #mermay #oc

Finally finished that big drawing I was working on but didn't have time for a more involved drawing this week. Thought it would be fun to do another quick chibi so the wheel chose Calder for this week. Decided to let him much on his favorite food.

I was still working on the bigger drawing since the deadline was extended. I’ve shared this drawing before but not by itself. This is from OC birthday drawing series from 2018-2019. I really want to revisit drawing Denise’s tattoos at some point.

A couple years ago, I signed up to participate in a MAP. It ended up being delayed due to low participation but we began it last year and I illustrated this background based on the animatic. I did a rough pass but the MAP seemed to fizzle out so I'm sharing this at least. (I finally caught up!!!)

A couple weeks ago, I had a silly idea for a drawing, so here's my werewolf OC Kane sneaking some snacks at night. Since he's a werewolf, his eyes would reflect light in the dark and I thought it would be funny for something so mundane.

I was looking at the cover art for the First Take for Omokage by milet, Aimer, and Lilas Ikuta and wanted to draw the pose. It was a no brainer to use my spy trio: Techer, Simone, and Rielee. The pose just fit them so well. This makes me want to find other thumbnail poses and redraw them.

Utilized the OC wheel again and it selected Mason. I decided to show him off brushing his hair since he has a lot of love for hair. Since it's a simple pose, I tried some brushes I haven't really used before. Not sure I'll use the markers for lineart ever again and the pastel was tricky to manage.

Last month, I went and saw GOAT and it made me want to do a drawing with my OC Arielle. I wanted to show her off angry and then decided to try some new coloring techniques, not sure if it made much of a difference but it was nice to try out.

Oh man am I excited to finally share this one. Last month, I saw Mamoru Hosoda's newest film Scarlet & finally finished watching The Rose of Versailles (1979), so naturally I was filled with the need to draw women with swords.

Six digital character drawings of a variety of young women wielding swords in different poses.

I made some art to vent a lot of feelings that have been bubbling up over the past few years and currently. I haven't felt as passionate about my art in recent years because I'm just drawing my silly lil drawings of my OCs meanwhile people are struggling to survive.

The weather back in January made me want to draw something a bit cozy. So here's my OC Odeda enjoying a warm beverage while doing some reading. I know I'm overdue for a binge read and some hot chocolate or tea would go nicely with it.

Another late one, I was looking at an art tip that suggested skipping the lineart phase and coloring straight from the sketch phase utilizing the lasso tool so I wanted to give it a try. Not really sure if I actually drew faster but it was nice doing a drawing of my OC Pari.
