What else can I say, man. Microsoft is gutting id Software in a an endless pursuit of profits, *despite* their success. Over a hundred people thrown out like tools. Tons of projects with uncertain but likely terrible fates. And that's without mentioning the rest of the studios. Fuck Microsoft, man.

Xbox layoffs finally got to id and I'm pissed dude, people who innovate and craft crazy wizard engine tech and put out literal CONSTANT financial bangers and even THAT doesn't save them from the creeping corporate scythe, Microsoft is still taking what they had for granted and fucking it all man

RIP Bobby Prince. His music legacy will live on, making inspired music for Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, countless others. A true legend. And such a nice man, great musician, wonderful, fun-loving man, nothing but happy memories of him. A loss to the world.

Saw the final #TADC episode in theaters yesterday! It's simultaneously a fantastic ending and something that'll haunt my thoughts for a very long time. I'm glad that Gooseworx, the fellas at GLITCH, and the cast of the show were able to bring this story to life!

A good buddy of mine got their hands on a copy of the Shigeki Toyama artbook that contains a bunch of high-res references of the #PicPac band, and I got inspired to quickly sketch out Maria Socket to get back into the drawing mood! Namco bring back PicPac and make a picpacillion dollars #fanart

A rough illustration of Maria Socket, the lead singer of Namco's PicPac animatronic band. Her hair is bluish-purple and resembles a robot helmet. Her body is light-pink with white accents, resembling a robotic dress. She's also got two little antenna ball things on her head.

Expanding on the posts on my main, here's a design thread! This first post is just misc stuff of the characters drawn as a group, more info in alt text. A huge thanks and credit to @drpyspy.bsky.social for all his help and art while I was working on this project. (1/14)

On the left is a drawing of the 2fort battlements but with the artpass style of Walnut Hills from PVZ:GW.
The top right has 9 of the heroes headshots coloured with their respective primary colour.
Middle right has the 11 heroes posed as a group, Roo, Sammy and VERA are holding Aeris as he strikes a pose.
Below that is Roo and Tara-Val as their respective animals.
Bottom right are earlier sketches of the characters with poses based on the tf2 class lineup image but Aeris is in place of Spy, Roo is in place of Heavy, Bombardier is in place of Demo and Holly Knight is in place of Medic, the final image still used this concept of replicating the tf2 class lineup but (with the exception of bombardier) the heroes all replaced different classes.
In the middle is Aeris and Andromeda looking up at something, mainly drawn to highlight Andromeda's height compared to the rest of the cast.
To the right of that is a headshot sketch of Holly Knight.
Above that is Holly Knight and Roo engaged in combat.
Above that is Aeris as a little fae-thing healing Bombardier's minor headache.

Magma doodle of Kira Morgan from Doom II RPG! I made her suit resemble the Doom 3 armor (specifically the QC design) because I thought it'd be uhhh fucking awesome and epic I also gave her a hellish looking skullcrusher and a plasma shield because it's uhhh fucking awesome and epic #Doom #fanart
