Congratulations to my friend Andy Burnham on becoming the Leader of the Labour Party! Now is the time for our party to come together around our shared values, take the fight to the Tories and Reform, and deliver for our country.

The corridor care crisis is being driven by a social care system that needs urgent reform. We must address the issues in social care with a clear plan to ensure patients receive the care they deserve while easing the pressure on our NHS.

It was so interesting to visit the London Ambulance Service control centre. Getting to meet the dedicated teams who work tirelessly at the heart of our emergency response is always inspiring. Their professionalism and unwavering commitment to care are truly remarkable.

The Tory leader of Wandsworth Council has resigned. Wandsworth Council needs full-time leadership, not a part-time Tory leader and cabinet members who spend more time infighting. Residents in Wandsworth deserve so much better.

There is currently disruption at Tooting Bec station due to a passenger incident. Emergency services have attended the station and the incident has been resolved, but there may be some disruption as a result. Please look for any further announcements from TfL.

Today I’ve nominated Andy Burnham to be the next Leader of the Labour Party. He has a record of delivery as Mayor of Manchester, as well as the vision needed to bring the Labour family together and take the country forwards.

Too many patients are stuck in corridors, waiting for care. This isn't about statistics; it's about real people in distress. As an A&E doctor, I've seen the impact firsthand. Today, I've secured a debate in the House of Commons on NHS corridor care. We need urgent solutions.

The hypocrisy of Nigel Farage is disgusting. Taking cash from shady sources while lecturing others, is typical. The public deserves to know who is bankrolling him. The Electoral Commission must investigate and take action.

Today, I laid a wreath in Hyde Park to honour the 52 innocent people killed on 7 July 2005. We honour those injured, the families who carry the loss, and the heroic emergency responders who ran towards danger that day. London remembers. You will never be forgotten.
