The best way to deal with stress is to run to the God of all comfort. Spending time in prayer and focusing on His unshakable love, promises, and plans for you will bring about inner peace. God will never leave or forsake you. He's there 24/7, and is waiting to listen. #God

2 Corinthians 5:1–5, reiterates that believers have confident hope of eternal life, comparing our temporary physical bodies to tents & our future immortal bodies to a permanent heavenly dwelling built by God, with the Holy Spirit acting as a guarantee of this promise. Trust God! #HeavenlyDwelling

The Christian journey isn't an easy one. There's an increasing animosity toward Christian values & the church faces attacks from false teachers who deceive many people. As Christians, we're to trust God, depend on the Holy Spirit for strength, regularly feed on Scripture, & pray. #God

Every homebuilder understands the importance of a solid foundation when it comes to constructing a quality building. For a building to stand firm through time & weather, it must be built on solid footings. Families are the same. They must have the foundation of faith through God. #God

God can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine. The first element we see is His sovereignty. The second element is God's omnipotence. The third element is His glory. Every sovereign and powerful act that God does in response to prayer radiates His majesty 🙏 🙌 ❤️. #God

Psalm 91 celebrates the safety & security of those who trust in God. The psalmist warns of danger from insidious schemes of men, uninvited troubles, physical attacks, sickness, & disasters. The psalm doesn't promise immunity, but the Lord protects those who trust in Him ❤️. #God

Often, when we consider wisdom, we think about someone who knows the right thing to do in a certain situation. There's a sense in which that's true. However, it's not just about knowing the right thing to do, it's about doing the right thing. Godly wisdom teaches us to honor God. #GodlyWisdom

Satan blinds people's minds to keep them from seeing the light of truth & the glory of God. Their blindness isn't merely a lack of understanding, but a deliberate obstacle created by Satan to keep them from recognizing their need for a Savior & accept the truths of Christianity. #SpiritualBlindness

The Bible commands us to "do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves." Yet, people show us who they are. Their selfishness & narcissistic behavior is building up themselves, while degrading others. #HumilityofMind

Hebrews 6:17-18, provides absolute confidence & strong encouragement for believers who trust in Him. It affirms that God's promises are completely reliable, secured by His unchangeable Word & solemn oath. God's truthfulness is tied to His holiness, & absolute moral perfection. #God

The Holy Spirit's influence in a yielded heart can bring about the type of love that God desires in our lives. There's no amount of human toil or gritty determination that can produce spiritual fruit. It's because of God's love that He carried out His plan to save the world ❤️. #TheHolySpirit

The psalmist in Psalm 30:5, reminds us that sorrows we endure in this life are temporary. As painful as a season may be, it's only a season. Through life, we'll endure many twists, turns, ups, and downs. Although we may suffer, it's never permanent for those who are in Christ. #JesusChrist

Many say they're believers of Christ, yet they continue to sin. God has an unyielding standard of moral truth, justice, & righteousness. Just as builders use a weighted string (a plumb line) to perfectly align a vertical project, God uses His divine law to measure our integrity. #God'sPlumbLine

A former high-school classmate recently lost her husband of many years. I felt her pain & the comfort she needed during this difficult period. The scripture that immediately came to mind was 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. God comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort others. #God'sComfort

Psalm 37:35-36, the psalmist's observation of a wicked person who appears solidified & secured, but eventually disappears. In essence, the wicked person will vanish swiftly from the scene. Throughout history, various unjust leaders & corrupt institutions have come & gone. #TheWicked

Life doesn't always go as planned. When my nine year old granddaughter had visited us didn't get her way she pouted. I told her that in life we have to pivot, adjust, and adapt. The same can be said when God closes a door. Trust Him, He closes it for a reason that's best for us. #Redirection

When we rest in the Lord, it refers to a spiritual rest from confusion, worry, stress, useless human effort, and a break from all internal, external, mortal, and spiritual enemies. As believers, we're not granted immunity from life's storms, but have a choice of how we react. #SpiritualRest

In Luke 12:13–21, the "Parable of the Rich Fool." A key emphasis for understanding this parable is Luke 12:15. Jesus warns this person & all, that our lives shouldn't be on gathering wealth. If God has blessed us with material wealth, our hearts should be rich toward Him. #Greed

The secret of contentment isn't found in circumstances, it's recognizing that Christ strengthens us through whatever circumstances we might face. God allows things in our lives to help us grow to be "Christlike" and fit for service. He uses trials to help shape us for service🙏. #God

Doubt is an experience most common to all people. Even those with faith in God struggle with doubt on occasion. The Bible reiterates the cause of doubt, & provides examples of people who struggled with it. The remedy for doubt is faith. Trust God for He is faithful, true, & able. #Doubt

Our lives on Earth, is brief. There's an urgent call for repentance, meaning those who aren't in Christ, should urgently seek and develop a relationship with Him, while grace is available. He's eagerly waiting to forgive. Tomorrow, isn't promised, what will your answer be? #repentance

God's infallible Word remind us that His truth & love can be found to guide us in all aspects of life. Faith is central to how anyone receives the validity or value of God's inspired Word. "The man without the Spirit, does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God." #God

God hates sin for the same reason that light hates darkness & truth hates a lie. God wants His children to "have the full riches of a complete understanding." Sin only gets in the way. God hates sin because it enslaves & will eventually destroy us. Seek God's love & wisdom daily. #God

God's present everywhere. There's no place we can go & be cut off from His presence. Nothing can isolate us from His love. Everything in all the universe, whether in this present life, or the life to come, is under God's sovereign control & dominion of His Son, Jesus Christ 🙏❤️. #God

As Christians, we are to view ourselves through the lens of faith given by God. Do we evaluate ourselves honesty to determine whether we align with God's truth. Do we practice what we preach? Are we constantly growing in Christ? Do we use our gifts/talents to save souls? #God

The sorrows we face in this life are temporary. Life is filled with twists & turns, as well as ups & downs. Although we may suffer through dark nights, morning will come. With God a transformation will come when He removes the garments of grief & replaces them with gladness 🙏❤️. #God

When we shift our focus off the magnitude of the problem and place them on the character of God, we establish a genuine trust in Him. God is our anchor, refuge, and strength. When we pour out our burdens to God, He's always there to listen. Go to Him at all times! 🙏❤️ #God
