Did you know MOMO is widely considered the strongest character in Xenosaga Episode II, due to her high EATK stat and piercing non-elemental behavior. She can be easily manipulated in Boost chains to deal extremely high damage, and she can heal! I have no idea where she got the bow and beret, though.

"Steam became one of the most important platforms for us” – Japanese developer Sting chats with us about self-publishing, PC early access, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, the possibility of a Baroque Syndrome localization, working with Atlus, the industry, coffee, and more: www.rpgsite.net/interview/20...

Final Fantasy X was a formative game for me, something I'll never really truly be able to look at objectively. I wrote a bit about it with the 20th anniversary, 5 years ago, about how I resonate with the themes of grief more as an adult than I ever did as a pre-teen: www.rpgsite.net/feature/1148...

Final Fantasy X’s message of overcoming loss resonates with me far more now, 20 years later | RPG Site

Final Fantasy X conveys a hopeful message that I continue to carry with me.

Been playing Endless Ragnarok and, yea, not a fan of the repetitive endgame material grind hamster wheel. Been watching hours of second-screen YouTube as I go to help fight the boredom.

Beyond proud of the June that @rpgsite.net had. We had some great announcements, though not exactly any mega-mega releases -- but the site just breezed to well over 5mil pageviews, with an average non-bounce session duration of just under 15 minutes(!); a super engaged audience. The team rocks.

Big news! @apzonerunner.com and I have launched a new video games website. @respec.net is our attempt to create a highly curated multi-format site that has that club feel you used to get from the best magazines (and frankly, my beloved VideoGamer back in the day) www.respec.net/feature/87-w...

Welcome to Respec: A word from the Editors | Respec

Welcome to our new little corner of the internet. Why a new video game website, and why now? Allow us to explain...

I'm involved a bit in this too. Not so much in the day-to-day, but (probably) more as a communication facilitator, as I've been the point of contact for RPG Site for ~14 years To PR friends, I'm no longer allowed to say something 'isn't in scope', because Respec isn't defined by genre conventions.

Launching a new website about video games today. Meet @respec.net. A sibling to @rpgsite.net, a spiritual successor to VG247, & a brother from another mother to other 100% independent UK media brands like @videogameschronicle.com and @trueachievements.com. www.respec.net/feature/87-w...

Seeing some people comment along the lines of 'Obsidian should have been working on Fallout years ago!'. That's fine if that's what they want to do, but I hope they aren't just relegated to be developer muscle for someone else's IP.

One fun thing about working at a multi-cultural US company, with a large immigrant workforce, is that it goes all out for World Cups. The (huge) lunchroom is basically raucous right now. You wouldn't think this is a bunch of scientists lol.

As someone with no interest in Steam Machines, GTA, Deltarune, or Star Fox, this has been a pretty uneventful week so far. Not trying to be dismissive, we all have our differing tastes and this just happens to be a void week for me lol.
