I attended a celebration of life of a woman who died 6 months ago. The love expressed by those who spoke in remembrance was moving. The lesson? Live to be well-remembered by those you share life with.

Every reference Trump made in addressing the nation about the war in Iran was punctuated by "the likes of which no one has ever seen." Why does Trump only hang with ignorant people who don't understand the phenomena of the world? He exaggerated the danger of an obliterated Iranian nuclear program.

What's more disturbing? That Trump knows what he's doing or that he doesn't?

I made it through one hour of the State of the Union. I didn't think I could hate him any more, but I was wrong.

In anticipation of the mid-terms it is now time to begin hyphenating the names of every Republican candidate who fails to disavow Trump with Trump' name. I'll begin: Senator Daines-Trump and Congressman Zinke-Trump of Montana.

I'm against shooting people--it's wrong. ICE shooting a man who was down is sickening. What everyone wonders is it that hard to imagine ICE agents in the cross-hairs of a deer rifle held by a fed up Minnesotan? The whole game will change with the first ICE agent gets shot from 250 yards.

I read an account of how Charlie Kirk rose to power. He was, it related, bank-rolled by radical right rich guys and his father. It made me wonder if anyone has coined the term "nepo-fascist?" That said, I condemn shooting ANYONE because of their political beliefs.

I hate a lot about putting the armed military on American streets. I worry there will be an "accidental" firearm discharge injuring or killing a citizen. Remember all that's has been done to use the 2nd Amendment to arm every whacko ever? That's how a shooting war in our streets starts.

What do ICE agents get paid? When they take the "king's shilling," what do they get paid to do these horrible things? If I ever want to sell my soul, I want to know what the market will bear.

The annual interest on the national debt is around $952 billion. It is not going away. The big beautiful bill will add $120 billion to that number. And federal debt gets paid before money for any other purpose. Our grandchildren are going to hate us for tax breaks for the wealthy.

Parades: Bands playing Sousa Marches, Floats, Baton Twirlers, Service Clubs handing out candy to kids, Scout Troops sort of marching, a few folks on horseback, Flags, of course, all kinds. You will notice there is no place for the Abrams A-1 tank. Just doesn't belong.

I can't help but imagine that this weekend's BIG military parade--something that under ANY other President would be dignified and celebratory--is going to be potentially dangerous and/or violent simply because a whacko is President. How far from GREAT he has made us.
