🏺 Excellent that we may be on the way to banning the sale of human remaining the UK. Congratulations to the British Association of Biological Anthropologists Task Force for getting it this far. It’s been a grey area because there’s no legal ownership for human remains.
I’m going to second this!
We've been working super hard towards this for *years*. Still a long way to go, but it's great to see it's being brought to the UK Commons. Super proud of our Taskforce and everything we've achieved so far. Follow the link to read the full statement. babao.org.uk/bill-to-stop...
Sadly, very similar to what we see here in the UK and why this needs to be dealt with legally. We at BABAO continue to bring this to the public forefront to stop these sales! #britishassociationofbiologicalanthropolgyandosteoarchaeology www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...

Once again, Indigenous remains being sold at auction, this time in Germany. If we can stop it here in the UK then perhaps other countries will follow. This is what we have been working towards for a long time but we won’t give up! #BABAOtaskforceonthetradeandsaleofhumanremains
