Admin/writing day today and I have to write an article by the beginning of Jan, but I’m away 2 weeks of Christmas and New Year so must crack on. So obviously procrastinated wildly for an hour before starting anything useful. Opened a blank document copied 1/2

Just found my way back to Bluesky! I deleted the app before travelling to the US for a weddingin the summer as I was concerned about the content of my feed, if my phone got examined at border control! Anyway I then forgot my username and couldn’t get back in. So here I am 🫣

Setting off to the EMDR UK national conference this morning. Excited to hear about new developments and inspiring trauma work being done. Also looking forward to real life connection with inspiring colleagues and friends.

Tomorrow, February 28, let’s disrupt the status quo by spending ONLY at businesses that uplift our communities. That means: 🚫 No gas from corporate giants 🚫 No fast food chains 🚫 No big-box retailers (Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc.)

As a wheelchair user, I’m not sure how I feel about the terminology used in the UAE to describe disabled people. It sounds like an attempt to be really positive and welcoming, but at the same time I feel somewhat patronised by it. What do others think??
