hi so everything is being complicated by my invisible disablities, and i am finding it hard to keep my head above water. i would love to find points of exchange with people with disabilities who write to survive. any advice, pointers, venues and anthologies to submit to, would be greatly welcome.

my debut collection is officially out in Nigeria today! after being born in the US & the UK in 2023, it came here to meet me halfway. i am fizzing with gratitude to the Supreme Being, to the publisher, to kindest friends, and to all future readers. Welcome to the weird.👹

I'VE GOT NEWS FOR YOU HONEY: am so excited for you all to read this short story and enter the world of Uju. Loosely inspired by fairytales, esp. Cinderella and the myth of Persephone + a first exploration of queer romance in my ouevre. Out October 1!

Yeyo Digital and acrylic on paper 2012 ---- One of my faves from the archive. It set the stage for how I see & envision my paintings. Embodied, archetypal, ancestral, futurist, jewel tones anchored in the dust and browns of the earth, mythological. Inspired by Erkyah Badu's Yeyo (and mom trauma lol)

A femme tree goddess rises from the waters and lands. Her legs are composed of tree roots, her dress emulates the shape of the vulva and vagina. The dress folds and curtains transform into a veil that bisects the figure. Tree branches emerge from the crown and head, and house a glowing sun.

COVER REVEAL Hi all! I am excited to share the cover of my debut collection of short stories, "Caged Ocean Dub", which will be published in Nigeria, by Masobe Books. I look forward to the book finding a fresh audience in its home country, and am honored to be a new member of the Masobe family. 🐉🌊🌞

the general tone of global leadership seems more slippery, and 'off' than it has ever been. or maybe it's social media exposures letting us see just how bad we've always had it with men in power.

Hello everyone. Please read, share and comment on my first non fiction publication. Thank you!
