Grass grows to about 2', then stops growing and seeds. So why can't they design a seedless grass that only grows 4"? They could! But won't because lawn industry makes billions selling mowers, trimmers, fertilizer, weed killers, seed and lawn services.

Female Baltimore Oriole from this week, I am seeing a few of these and a few warblers, but the cover is so dense I can't see them for long:

Vines are killing all the trees along the river. It's out of control & no way to stop it. They make it hard to see any birds. Those & the Tree of Heavens are also taking over. The Cottonwoods & others are all dying off. The landscape is changing fast with global weather changes.

My partner is getting old, he's 13 now and Chins don't live but 10-12 years. I almost lost him this week, he jumped out of the boat and hid in thick brush, it took hours to find him and get him out of the thick cover he was hiding in.
