The Odyssey was a spectacle of a film, but unfortunately it really cut out a lot of the epic parts from the epic. I'd still rate it as "good" but lower your expectations if you wanted to see mythology on the big screen.
I think one of the toughest things about living abroad is that feeling you can't do much when someone dies. Having to send to my dad I wish I was there to give him a hug may have done a number on me. Not had much time to process it all between dealing with grown-ups who forgot the first part.

A cool thing of leading two RP guilds is that it gives me a lot of room to experiment! Right now, I'm trying a campaign with two plots and two DMs. It frees me up from doing 3 events a week for several weeks straight to avoid burnout. The older I get, the less time I seem to have. So, compromise!
