As happy as I am to see Mercedes finally holding that AEW Women's World Title, I have to keep reminding myself that she hasn't already *been* the world champion the whole time. Which, now that I think about it, was the same reaction I had to seeing Willow win the world title.
I'm not a Will Ospreay fan and I probably never will be, but I have to admit these segments he's in tonight feel kind of refreshing now that his quest for the world title is finally complete. For the first time in a long time it no longer feels like he's locked onto a single, immutable path.
Swerve and New Level make such a great trio that it sometimes feels like he was the secret 4th member of the New Day all along. I mean, I'll always miss Big E when I see Creed and Kofi, but the future looks so bright it's hard to feel sad.
I could watch The Rascalz and The New Level fight all day long, this match rules man #AEWDynamite
