The Duke PUMP experience goes beyond research labs. Our Scholars visited the Duke Lemur Center, toured the Duke Human Vaccine Institute's GMP facility, and explored VR at the Innovation Co-Lab. Along the way, they got a closer look at research and innovation across Duke and connected as a team.

PUMP 2026 Scholars strengthened key scientific skills through professional development sessions focused on reading scientific papers, clinical research concepts, communicating science, and effective visual presentation.
