I never learn that putting on the “sad songs that hurt me and make me internalize every negative thought I’ve ever had towards myself - playlist” will NOT produce some kind of super great art piece that’ll make everyone clap It *just* puts me in a bad headspace

So I talk about my fictional movie series, but I don’t think I’ve ever talked about the HUMAN PROTAGS of those movies DB1: Maggie, the town mechanic and Linda, secretary to the mayor. A quiet, stoic butch and a mousey anxious string bean. (They have an implied relationship by the end of the film)
