I was at a presentation by SSEN where they explained Scotland pays £££ millions to put the energy we produce onto the National Grid. Energy operators in England are given £££ millions in subsidies. This article, from 2023, explains the transmission fee charges. www.thenational.scot/news/2335303...

Last week, Michael Gove split from his girlfriend Dr. Lola Salem who has been charged with possessing indecent images of children. The Oxford University professor has pleaded not guilty & is out on bail awaiting trial. Not much media attention on this. Apparently she was charged in back in June.
