Brandon Williams is such a demon. The advanced stats that were pointing to, like, a Ryan Rollins breakout last year are also saying Brandon Williams is awesome. 65% at the rim as a guard!

Warriors schedule thoughts: way way easier than last year, facing OKC twice in the last week of the season is a godsend because they’ll be resting guys

the issue I’m having with the front office is the star chasing. I didn’t want them to invest everything into Jaylen Brown or get extorted for Anthony Davis, but there’s also other stuff you can do. You can build a normal-ass team. Find undervalued young players. Ty Jerome would change my life.

Steph Curry wants to follow Tim Duncan, Kobe Bryant and just a few others by playing out an all-time career on just one team. But the flip side: The teams made it right for those players to do it. The Warriors have to keep making it right for Curry. sfstandard.com/2026/07/29/s...

I’m very done with the Warriors trying to star chase, but it does seem like it’s been a minute since they’ve made a meaningful margin move that paid off

a lot of doomposting about the Warriors’ future and I do fully get it. but also I think with Yaxel and some smart additions (tbd) this team will be better than last year, at least. very far away from championship level but I don’t think, like, Trey Murphy moves them to another tier.

at this point I’d probably give LJ Cryer an NBA contract and use the two-ways on Jones, Ike, and Boyd (although I like Leons and he could get in there somewhere)

Gary Trent Jr. contract is both the worst contract in the NBA in a vacuum and also leaves the Bucks open to a major circumvention investigation/consequences. Wildly impressive work

Yaxel completely poised under the pressure of those trap attempts at the end, made the exact right play every single time. Really couldn’t be more impressed

Yaxel was designed in a lab to be Steve Kerr’s favorite player. He’s gonna be the Josh Hart to his Thibs. Dude’s getting 40 minutes per game day 1.

Dunleavy three weeks ago: we need to get younger and target guys who can play a decent amount of games Dunleavy now: Sorry to our great scouting and development success story, but we need to give Al Horford a raise and pay Porzingis so we have a 10% chance of getting Lebron James

Based on half-watching three summer league games, I am willing to say that Yaxel, Peterson, and Boozer are all demons, and Acuff is the reincarnation of Cam Thomas
