Got my official Blizzcon photos back today! I didn't get many pics throughout the day, so I'm really grateful for these. I'm in love with how vibrant the colours look!

The look you’re gonna get if you ask how to get your HOA fees refunded! Lyssabel Dawnpetal, made 100% by hand, by me, walked the stage at Blizzcon this weekend. Made it to the in-person judging, but didn’t place.

Been silent about my Blizzcon build, because my initial plans fell apart. Literally. So, in panic mode, I bought different fabrics, and sewed like crazy to make the 80% check in deadline (2 weeks ago). Seems like it was worth it, as I learned today I’ve made the cut for the in-person judging!

When even the quote bots get how we're feeling. (To be clear, while I'm mildly happy that we're getting ANY kind of announcement from Infold, what we got is very much NOT what I was hoping for. I'd like to hope that this is "testing the waters" and a sign we're getting back to normal, but ... eh)

Oh boy, did I ever have a massive failure with Lyssabel’s armour parts. Just did not come out how I wanted. So, with time ticking to the 80% check in, I’m starting over using different fabrics, and the new version brings me joy. Also, been piecing her skirt together, and these colours are 🤌

Pulling for banners in #LoveandDeepspace is always a mix of luck. And then there's this current banner. Did I pull? Yes. Did I get the cards I wanted? Also yes. Eventually. Did I go to pity? Either to it, or close to it. A lot. Did I spend money on it? Yeah, some. Nothing hugely unusual so far.

Con prep when all I want to do is pack two of my "easy to wear" costumes is still: 1: "Quick" repairs, that I had forgotten about. 2: Which thing (usually shoes or foundation garments) go with this? 2.5: Where the heck are they?? 3: I could make a new prop for this. 2 days? Yeah, I got time.
