I wish I could offer you all more, but there's basically nothing left... I'm not able to keep up this firm persona where I pretend everything is fine when it isn't. Things are very not fine, and they haven't been for a long time, but I'm too stubborn, prideful. I am "homeless".
The reality here is that I've been fucked over by a man who was stealing parts from people's cars. He has a restraining order against him, multiple counts of arson on his record and a history of domestic violence. He's been avoiding legal income for a reason, and I don't think he'd pay it at all.
This is like an extension of companies oversimplifying their logos. If I was a parent, I would encourage my kids to draw on these.

When therapy teaches "you don't owe anyone anything" it's to understand "you are not others expectations of you" or "no one is entitled to your body or time" NOT you should be an antisocial ass to everyone This is meant to protect from those that would abuse your kindness, not an excuse to be mean
