Because they still see cats as human accessories, and not as sentient creatures with their own intrinsic value, and the same fundamental drive to live by their own leave as we do. Lift the veil. Be awed by their true beauty.

Very glad I stopped collecting official PMD merch. Back then, I was so deep in the sunk cost fallacy that I wouldn't allow myself to acknowledge how stressed and unhappy it was making me. In a much healthier headspace nowadays!
