Sometimes I wonder how F/GO manages to stay alive and then I see this and it all just makes sense.
I’m still not 100% sure how to articulate it but I think the reason mecha fans are often so curmudgeonly about mechsplo stuff is cause it’s basically a totally different thing using the same language and aesthetics in a way that comes off as intensely shallow and annoying to the other party
using the gun belt as a leverage to rack the pistol slide looks absolutely insane for like two frames
